Kelsey found Hello Boudoir while we were advertising for the Red Hot Summer set. The RED HOT summer set was epic, it's a gorgeous red satin sheet bed that is so HOT, it's now a permanent set in the studio today. She was always interested in doing a boudoir shoot, but self doubt crept in and she didn't think she had the body for Boudoir portraits. That's a story I hear all too often at my South Alabama Boudoir Studio. Kelsey works in a VERY male driven career and she was worried that maybe she just wasn't feminine enough to pull this off. After a chat on the phone with me, she decided to come in and give it a try. I give a really great pep talk.

WHY DID YOU BOOK A SHOOT WITH DAPHNE AT HELLO BOUDOIR?

I came across a sponsor ad for Hello Boudoir looking for women to book a shoot on the Red HOT summer set, so I figured why not give it a try. I've always been interested in Boudoir but never thought I had the body for it. Also, working in a male dominant field I thought I'm not feminine enough. After talking to Daphne on the phone, I was hooked and immediately to booked a session.

WAS THIS YOUR FIRST BOUDOIR SESSION?

Yes. This is true.

NERVOUS? HOW NERVOUS 1-10?

10 all the way!

WHEN DID YOU STOP BEING NERVOUS?

As soon as I walked into the studio and I met Daphne in person along with Winter and they got started with my shoot and when we started talking it was all very comfortable.

DID YOU ENJOY THE PLANNING? WAS IT HELPFUL?

Absolutely, I would have been so lost without it!

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE?

The Boudoir shoot itself was the best part for me.

WHY WAS THE ABOVE YOUR FAVORITE?

Daphne made me feel comfortable and the simplicity of her showing the types of poses and talking me through it made it such a great experience.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF SINCE YOUR SHOOT AT HELLO BOUDOIR?

Like a goddess, woman and no matter what I wear - I KNOW I'm going to rock the mom bod because it's not about what's on the outside, people will always body shame, it's about how YOU feel on the inside. I love myself more now than ever before. This shoot was such a great decision for me.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO A WOMAN THAT DOESN'T THINK SHE COULD BE AS BRAVE AS YOU? WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE THINKING ABOUT DOING A BOUDOIR SHOOT?

Just do it, don't over think about the price, or stress over the planning and don't think things like: I don't have the body. Girl, you've got the bod, you've got the glam, and your going to rock your shoot and I'm here to be your hype girl.
