The number one boudoir session push back is not what you think. When I ask this question, and I ask it a lot, nearly everyone says, "Is it body positivity?" Women seem to think that women who book boudoir sessions are sex kittens. Women who are confident in every aspect of their body. Or that they are rocking a perfect BMI and match that height weight bullshit that every fitness app is feeding us for simulated happiness and joy. You'd think that would be it, but NO. That's not it. The number one push back is that women think they have already know how to walk, sit, stand and pose sexy. Women think that every lady who's walked in might have been a Victoria's Secret Supermodel at one time or another.

And let me tell you, when I tell them these stories - they are flattered. They are blushing right now reading this. My South Alabama Boudoir Studio photographs every day regular women each and every day. These are the same women that you see in the car line at your school, or in the grocery store. We are Moms, Sisters, Daughters, Wives, but most of all we are women. But on shoot day, we are that same woman with a little more makeup and perfect damn eyebrows.
